Geoffrey Gan is a Senior Engineering Manager with KBKG for the Cost Segregation practice. He consults with business owners and executives on strategies to reduce their tax liabilities utilizing cost segregation, asset retirement, repair and expense, and fixed asset review analyses. He manages daily operations with a team of engineers that strive to achieve excellence in all aspects of the industry. This includes providing detailed studies, understanding tax legislature and guiding client interaction. He joined KBKG in 2005 and developed KBKG Pro, the software used to generate cost segregation financial report schedules and analyses. While the software has scaled with the company’s growth, it is updated with the industry’s advancement of the final repair regulations on the applications of sections 162(a) and 263(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, which allows reporting on a Building System’s Unit of Property. Geoffrey earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration both from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals and a Certified Cost Segregation Professional. In his free time, Geoffrey enjoys games, sports, movies, and reading about business and technology.
